Designing a range that consisted of 24 pieces all delivered within a condensed time frame, and on the factory floor in less than 12 months.
Today’s average bathrooms measure a mere 6ft x 6ft, and into this space, we try to squeeze baths, basins, toilets, showers, cupboards and still have enough room to move around.
MyHome Bathroom Collection was designed specifically to meet this need, making the bathroom feel more spacious by clever design, while making the sanitaryware both more functional and more elegant.
Our consumer product design consultants understood the key business objectives, after which a program of work was identified to realise the demands of the project. Fundamental to this was the necessity for the team to arrive swiftly at a core design direction, fully defining a complete suite of unified products.
Ideation, design sprints and the creation of focused concept design solutions facilitated this approach. Resulting in a streamlined design and development process from concept to production
Designing square basins with elegant thin rims for mini-sized mixers means a Myhome 50cm basin provides more functional space than most round 60cm basins. This was achieved by challenging the manufacturing boundaries for conventional ceramic production, delivering outstanding space-saving results.
With impressive speed to market, the range consists of 24 pieces all designed, refined, engineered and prototyped within a condensed time frame, and on the factory floor in less than 12 months.
